Capitol Tree Care

Public listing

Capitol Tree Care (Capitol Tree Care LLC, also styled Austin Certified Arborist) is a local, family-owned Austin tree service founded in 2013 and run by James and Emily Burtchell. The company advertises arborist-led estimates. Crews prune and trim trees: deadwood removal, crown raising, thinning and reduction, with oak work timed around oak wilt. They remove dead, diseased, hazardous and storm-damaged trees, grind stumps below grade, haul brush and storm debris to recycling, and clear brush and cedar. Arborists provide health diagnosis, risk assessments and written reports. Crews plant native trees with a six-month warranty and remove ball moss and mistletoe. Plant health work includes cabling and bracing, Airspade soil aeration and root collar excavation, organic deep-root fertilization with lab soil testing, and ongoing maintenance. The company also writes tree protection plans for construction and can submit Austin tree permits. It serves Austin and about 20 Central Texas towns, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Dripping Springs, Lakeway and West Lake Hills. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9-5. Proposals, deposits and cancellation fees follow its written policies.
